We are glad to conduct indigo tie dye masterclass in Asia Art & Craft Fair 2026 soon on 12 July (Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 401-402, Studio 1. 1 Raffles Blvd, Singapore 039593).
Experience hands-on workshops with talented artists and makers at Asia Art & Craft Fair 2026. Learn new skills, explore different crafts, and create something uniquely your own!
Participants will explore traditional Bai ethnic indigo tie-dye techniques through a hands-on session featuring folding, clamping, tying and basic stitching methods to create unique patterns. The workshop also includes an introduction to the indigo-making process, from plant to pigment.
By the end of the session, participants will complete and bring home their own indigo tie-dye Ipad pouch (18cm × 26cm) and a shibori tea towel (50cm × 50cm).

Time: 12 July (Sun), 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.
Location: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 401-402, Studio 1.
Duration: 2 Hours.

Learners will learn:
(a). Bai ethnic traditional indigo tie dye techniques, like folding, clamping, stitching and mountains tie dye skill to create patterns.
(b). An overview of how beautifully indigo is prepared from plant to pigment.
(c). Make an indigo tie dyed Ipad pouch (18cm × 26cm) and a shibori tea towel (50cm × 50cm).

• All materials and tools will be provided unless otherwise stated.
• Participants are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes before the session begins.
• Workshop fees are non-refundable once booking is confirmed.
• Finished works must be completed within the session duration unless otherwise stated.
• Due to limited seating and workspace, the workshop is strictly for registered participants only.
