Come experience our interesting natural indigo dyeing silk scarf workshop during this Christmas season with Fashion Makerspace (42A North Canal Road, #02-00, Singapore 059298)! The traditional fabric resists dyeing technique with thousands-year history is called ‘Shibori’ in Japan, and named ‘绞缬’ in China. The needles are threaded on the fabric with painted guidelines, and the thread is finally tightened to achieve the patterns.
With a rustic charm, vibrant color and exclusive pattern, you will get two natural indigo dyed daily-wear silk scarves (55cm*55cm & 68cm*68cm) and a tie dye scrunchie after this workshop. You can practice and explore your own unique shibori motifs. Let's make a unique gift for you or your loved ones.
