The process of making is tying the fabric with thread to make different folds and putting it into a dye vat several times until the color become darker. This is a traditional tie-dye technique of Bai ethnic group in my hometown, Dali.
Each piece is unique as a result of the hand dyeing process and the tie-dyed fabric needs to be washed by cold water separately. Hand wash recommended.
