Join our Indigo Mountains Tie Dye Cushion Cover Workshop at The Art Faculty on 6 June (Sat)!

We are glad to come back conducting natural indigo workshop again at The Art Faculty on 6th June 2026! (20 Lengkok Bahru, #01-07, Singapore 159053). Each participant will have a fresh drink made on site.

In this hands-on session, we will share the specific skill of indigo mountains gradient tie dye pattern on the cushion cover. Participants will explore the art of plant-based indigo dyeing and creat two indigo dyed cushion covers (45cm*45cm) after this workshop. You can practice and explore your own unique shibori motifs during the process. This immersive workshop combines design, craftsmanship and sustainability, offering every participant a meaningful keepsake to take home.

Learners will learn:
(a). Bai ethnic traditional indigo tie dye techniques, like folding, clamping, stitching and mountains tie dye skill to create patterns.
(b). An overview of how beautifully indigo is prepared from plant to pigment.
(c). Make two indigo tie dyed cushion covers (45cm*45cm).
